A three-year-old girl in Losa Angeles took care of her two-month-old brother for several days after her parents died, ABC7 reported. 

According to the source, the father of the children shot his wife in the bedroom, after which he committed suicide. The man reportedly suffered from depression for a long time.

"Our little angel was able to keep herself and her brother alive," said LAPD Capt. Maureen Ryan. "The baby is a miracle baby and the little girl is a hero. She's an absolute hero."
