The plane for the Hurghada-Yerevan SJ 5600 charter flight, financed by the Government of Armenia, has landed at Zvartnots International Airport in Yerevan. Armenian News-NEWS.am reports that the passengers’ relatives are waiting for them at the arrival hall.

Earlier, the Embassy of Armenia in Egypt had reported that there are nearly 100 citizens of Armenia stranded in Hurghada due to cancelation of the OTF 3703 flight from Hurghada to Yerevan.

A couple of hours ago, Deputy Prime Minister Tigran Avinyan informed that the Hurghada-Yerevan SJ 5600 charter flight, financed by the Armenian government, has begun and that 132 citizens of the Republic of Armenia will be in Armenia in nearly three-and-a-half hours. Another flight will be held in the morning of July 29.

According to preliminary information, the reason for cancelation of the flight is that the A&R Tour Armenian tour operator hasn’t paid the aircraft carrier.
