The statements by Prime Minister of Armenia Nikol Pashinyan are dangerous from the perspective of national security. This is what co-founder of the National Agenda Party Ara Gasparyan told journalists today.

According to him, the statements on ‘exporting’ the revolution made at a distance of 20-30 km from the border, as well as the revolutionary processes in the borderline zone pose a direct threat to our national security.

Commenting on the statements of the Prime Minister in regard to development over the next 30 years, Gasparyan said he has doubts about the intention to include the Armenian Armed Forces in the world’s top 20 armies. The political figure recalled that such calculations are based on mechanical calculations, taking into consideration the number of the population, the reserve and the number of conscripts.

Gasparyan strongly disagrees with the criticism addressed to all state institutions. “The Prime Minister is making a statement on an institutional crisis in a country that is in a hybrid war, and the adversary hears this,” Gasparyan said. According to him, there is still no institutional crisis, but there will be one, if the attacks on the existing institutions continue.
