Employees of the Gyumri locomotive depot of South Caucasus Railway CJSC did not go to work on October 22 and 23 of this year, demanding higher wages, SCR said in a statement.

According to the statement, these actions of drivers and assistant drivers are a violation of labor law and are qualified as absenteeism. 

“For 8 months of the current year, the average salary of electric locomotive drivers was AMD 364 thousand.”
