Over 50 patients of the Nubarashen psychiatric clinic, has gone on hunger strike, shamshyan.com reported.

They require permission from the hospital management to get packages from their relatives.

According to the patients of this department, which is considered to be a special regime unit, their relatives bring food, but they are not allowed to pass hot dinners, meat dishes, and they get only fruits and sweets.

Protesters noted that they had already addressed the office of the Ombudsman of Armenia on this issue and were waiting for a visit from his representatives.
