Prime Minister Nikol Pashinyan and his wife, Anna Hakobyan today visited the Milan Cathedral where they became familiar with its history and architecture.

The Milan Cathedral (Duomo di Milano) is a Gothic-style Catholic cathedral located in the administrative center of Lombardy and is the seat of the Archbishop of Milan. It is 106.5 meters high and can accommodate 40,000 people. The Gothic Milan Cathedral is the fourth largest cathedral in the world and the third largest in Europe. Construction was launched in 1386 and ended in 1813. The Gothic style of the Cathedral is intertwined with the elements of culture of the Renaissance, and the golden La Madonnina statue, the major symbol of the Cathedral, is located inside.
