Prime Minister Nikol Pashinyan received President of the OSCE Parliamentary Assembly George Tsereteli, reports the news service of the Government of Armenia.

The Prime Minister stated that the OSCE is a key partner for Armenia not only in the sense of cooperation, but also in the sense that the OSCE Minsk Group Co-Chairmanship, which has the mandate for settlement of the Nagorno-Karabakh conflict, is within the scope of this organization. The head of government voiced hope that the OSCE will continue to be consistent with the settlement of conflicts in the region and the creation of an atmosphere of mutual confidence and presented the Armenian government’s position and views on the settlement of the Nagorno-Karabakh conflict.

George Tsereteli highly appreciated the active participation of Armenia’s parliamentary delegation in the sessions of the OSCE Parliamentary Assembly and welcomed the reforms underway in the country. Touching upon the Nagorno-Karabakh conflict, the President of the OSCE Parliamentary Assembly reaffirmed his organization’s position for a peaceful settlement and underscored the need for the creation of an atmosphere that will promote peace.
