From December 9 to 12, the NATO expert group providing advisory support to the Ministry of Defense of Armenia for development of defense education and strengthening integrity was in Yerevan on a regular visit, reports the news service of the Ministry of Defense.

The aim of the visit was to sum up the 2019 Cooperation Programs with the specialists, Military Education Department and military education institutions of the Ministry of Defense of Armenia, as well as participate in the initial discussions on the 2020 Cooperation Program and in the ceremony marking the launch of the pilot program for the subject “Good Governance and Integrity” designed for the 4th-year cadets of the military education institutions of the Ministry of Defense.

During the working meeting hosted at the Ministry of Defense, the Armenian party presented reports on the reforms made in the military education sector and at military education institutions.

From December 10 to 12, the advisory group paid visits to the military education institutions of the Ministry of Defense, as well as a cognitive visit to the Military Medicine Faculty at Yerevan State Medical University after Mkhitar Heratsi where they were introduced to the main areas of activities.

The results of the visit were summed up during a meeting with Deputy Minister of Defense Gabriel Balayan today.
