Armenian President Armen Sarkissian, who arrived in Qatar today at the invitation of the Emir of Qatar, Tamim bin Hamad bin Khalifa Al Thani, attended the opening of the prestigious Doha Forum. The plenary session of the forum also provides for the presentation of Armen Sarkissian, Armenian President's press service reported.

The forum brings together political and economic leaders, representatives and experts of international organizations.

The chair of the UN General Assembly, Tijjani Muhammad-Bande, the Prime Minister of Malaysia, Mahathir Mohamad, the President of Rwanda, Paul Kagame are also present.

About 250 lecturers and about 3,000 forum participants who arrived from around the world will discuss development trends in a rapidly changing world and issues of creating effective management systems in accordance with modern requirements within two days.
