It’s hard to imagine collaboration with former director of the National Security Service of Armenia Artur Vanetsyan, but anything is possible. This is what second President of Armenia Robert Kocharyan’s son, Levon Kocharyan told journalists today.

When asked if he and his family are going to endorse Artsakh’s presidential candidate Vitaly Balasanyan, Kocharyan said his father had already made a statement on that and that he had nothing to add.

When told that Robert Kocharyan doesn’t rule out snap parliamentary elections next year and when asked if he and his family will be supporting the existing political parties or establish a new political party, Levon Kocharyan said the following: “We have talked about many topics, but I don’t think now is the right time to talk about them,” Levon Kocharyan said and didn’t rule out the possibility of establishing a new political party.

In an interview from prison, Robert Kocharyan had expressed the opinion that Armenia will hold snap elections next year.
