A three-year-old girl has died in Ararat village of Armenia’s Ararat Province.

Doctors at Ararat Hospital reported that the child had undergone treatment for two days, but was transferred to Surb Astvatsamayr Medical Center due to complication of the situation.

When asked how accurate the rumors are and whether there were doubts that the child had died from the H1N1 Flu Virus (Swine Flu), director of the medical center in Ararat village Arayik Sardaryan didn’t refute the news and said the following: “There are such rumors, but since the child had been at the Surp Astvatsamayr Medical Center for three days, it would be better to ask the doctors there.”

Spokesperson of the Ministry of Healthcare of Armenia Alina Nikoghosyan confirmed that the child was diagnosed with the H1N1 Flu Virus (Swine Flu), but stated that the ministry can’t claim that she died from the virus.
