There is a volatile situation at the auto customs house in Gyumri, Armenia. People there have called Armenian News-NEWS.am are complaining that there are kilometers of car queues, and that they will no longer be able to clear their vehicles from customs until tomorrow evening.

"And in this situation, cursing, fighting, insulting," one of them told Armenian News-NEWS.am. “Traffic police say they took 6 people to the hospital from the beginning of the queue; they stabbed each other.”

This person said that the customs house will not be able to fully service this queue by 6pm tomorrow.

"From January, the customs clearance [for cars] will increase five times [in Armenia]," he added. "So who will buy a car [after that]?"

Another person standing in this queue said the situation there was volatile, and people were fighting each other due to tension.

"There was a stabbing at night," he said. "People (...) still don't know whether or not there will be customs clearance by tomorrow evening."
