Armenian Deputy Prime Minister Mher Grigoryan participated in the event dedicated to the 70th anniversary of the National Day—Republic Day—of India.

During the event, Grigoryan and Indian Ambassador Kishan Dan Dewal participated in the opening ceremony of an exhibition dedicated to India.

Then, during the solemn reception the Deputy Prime Minister made a congratulatory speech.

"Since the establishment of diplomatic relations between Armenia and India, it has been succeeded in turning the deep-rooted historical friendly bilateral relations into an interstate warm and partnership relations based mutual respect and trust," he said, in particular. “I believe that with joint efforts, we can achieve great success in developing our bilateral relations.

Taking this opportunity, allow me to express our gratitude to the Indian Government and Indian people for their caring attitude towards the Armenian community and the Armenian cultural heritage that has centuries of history in India."
