US Secretary of State Mike Pompeo believes that the Palestinians will eventually support Washington’s new Middle East settlement plan. He told the American journalist Ben Shapiro in an interview, the transcript of which was released on Tuesday by the press service of the State Department, TASS reported.

The Palestinians will have to decide whether they want to continue living in the difficult conditions in which they live today, said Pompeo adding that if the Palestinians approve the plan, they will have a bright future.

Now they have such an opportunity, he said adding that they don’t have to do it today or tomorrow, said Pompeo.
