Former president of the Football Federation of Armenia Ruben Hayrapetyan was interviewed under the criminal case of misuse by the Football Federation of Armenia yesterday. This is what Hayrapetyan’s lawyer Amram Makinyan told reporters today.

Hayrapetyan was apprehended today and taken to the Police of Armenia and, according to his lawyer, without any grounds. This is what Ruben Hayrapetyan personally told his lawyer over the phone.

“He only managed to tell me that he was being apprehended and taken to the criminal police. I haven’t been able to enter the police station for the past 15 minutes to see Mr. Hayrapetyan. At this moment, the “official” reasoning is that the head can’t give me a pass since he is out of the office.

The lawyer recalled that journalists have already told him that the Investigative Committee has officially confirmed that the act of apprehension has nothing to do with the criminal case regarding the Football Federation of Armenia.
