I am very glad to welcome Prime Minister of Armenia Nikol Pashinyan to Germany. This is what Chancellor of the Federal Republic of Germany Angela Merkel said before her meeting with Prime Minister of Armenia Nikol Pashinyan today.

“Today we’re going to talk about the deepening of our bilateral relations. Major changes are currently taking place in Armenia. Major changes are expected in the legal system, and this isn’t an easy process, but we wish you success in the implementation of your actions. Our relations have intensified. I can say that when I was in Armenia, I was very inspired by the TUMO Center for Creative Technologies. Recently, an agreement was signed for the creation of a TUMO Center in Germany, and it will open in Berlin in the fall of this year.

In October 2019, we also held an economic forum that led to the creation of a new branch in German-Armenian relations. We are grateful for the fact that Armenia cooperates very intensively in our mission in Afghanistan. We need to work hard to see progress in the relations between Armenia and Azerbaijan, and this will be the topic of our discussion today,” she stated.
