YEREVAN. – Armenia’s Prime Minister Nikol Pashinyan chaired a consultation today attended by Secretary of the Security Council Armen Grigoryan, Minister of Defense Davit Tonoyan, Acting Director of the National Security Service Eduard Martirosyan, Chief of the General Staff of the Armed Forces Artak Davtyan, Prosecutor General Artur Davtyan, Chairman of the Investigative Committee Hayk Grigoryan, and some other senior officials and law enforcement agencies. The Prime Minister's press service has released a respective statement.

They reflected on the circumstances and causes of recent deaths in the Armed Forces. Those in charge of this domain reported on the course of the criminal proceedings initiated in this regard.

Prime Minister Pashinyan prioritized the solution of the issues related to the criminal subculture and discipline in the Armed Forces, and emphasized the need for consistent measures aimed at raising the level of discipline significantly, giving appropriate instructions to those in charge of this domain.
