The Armenian National Committees of the Armenian Revolutionary Federation-Dashnaktsutyun political party are considered the second army and will always be the rear and support that the Armed Forces of Armenia and the Defense Army of Artsakh can rely on. This is what representative of the ARF-D Bureau Hagop Der-Khatchadourian declared during the forum held by the Armenian National Committees.

According to him, the priorities and main directions for actions are specified during such forums. “The first direction is the support to Armenia from the perspective of improving the country’s image and establishment of statehood and the support to Artsakh from the perspective of the settlement of the Nagorno-Karabakh conflict on the basis of the principle of self-determination and wide recognition of the Nagorno-Karabakh Republic. The second direction is linked to international recognition of the Armenian Genocide, including Turkey’s recognition. The third direction is the assistance in the protection of Armenians’ rights in Turkey, Javakhk and elsewhere. The fourth is the engagement of young Armenians in the efforts of international organizations and active lobbying in the aforementioned directions,” he stated.

In his turn, Representative of the ARF-D Bureau for the Armenian Cause and Political Affairs Kiro Manoyan stated that the adoption of Armenian Genocide resolutions by the US and Syrian governments is also important.
