Twitter management has advised its staff to work from home amid coronavirus outbreak, BBC reported.

A statement made on the company’s blog states that this condition is mandatory for employees in Hong Kong, Japan and South Korea.

The company also noted it encourages its employees all over the world to work without leaving home. The management came with statement the day after the ban on all non-essential business trips of its employees.

This Twitter directive can be seen as developing ways to work from home for a while, and its head, Jack Dorsey, announced plans to move to Africa in November for six months.

Twitter earlier reported the cancellation of the Southwest media conference in Austin, Texas.
