Iran received the first delivery of medical care from the World Health Organization (WHO) to fight coronavirus, Tasnim reported.

Medical aid arrived in Tehran on Monday by military aircraft from Dubai.

Eight tons of drugs, diagnostic devices for 100,000 people, medical and laboratory equipment were delivered to help combat the new type of coronavirus.

The organization sent six medical teams, including doctors, laboratory experts, and epidemiologists.

The number of deaths from coronavirus in Iran has increased to 66 people, and the total number of confirmed cases of infection has reached 1501.
