On March 8, the Damascus Opera House hosted the opening of the “Culture Rebuilds its Victory” festival organized by the Ministry of Culture of Syria.

During the event, Minister of Culture of Syria Mohammad al-Ahmad awarded several representatives of intelligentsia and artists, including translators, actors, painters and other talented individuals.

Among the recipients was historian, translator, Oriental studies expert, member of the Union of Arab Writers and Chair of the Syria-Armenia Parliamentary Friendship Group and MP Nora Arissian.
