YEREVAN. –Armenian President Serzh Sargsyan attended on Thursday opening ceremony of a new “Grand Sport” sports complex built in Armenia’s capital, Yerevan.
He was accompanied by one of the founders of Grand Holding, MP Mikael Vardanyan.
Sports complex is located in the territory of 7,000 square meters The complex provides all necessary conditions to go in for 12 sports, said Vardanyan.
All gyms conform to international standards. There is a pool, gym, tennis courts, grounds for basketball, volleyball, soccer, mountain climbing and even squash.
Bars and cafes, as well as two saunas are also located in the territory.
Total investments in the project made $7 million.
