YEREVAN. – Ashot Khachatryan, the oldest judge of the Constitutional Court, has assumed the duties of the President of the Constitutional Court, Armenia’s Prime Minister Nikol Pashinyan noted this on Facebook.

"I congratulate Mr. Khachatryan, wish him success and wisdom in this accountable status.

The government will assist, to the best of its ability, so that no obstacles emerge before the activities of the Constitutional Court during this transitional period,” he added.
