President of Armenia Armen Sarkissian today had a meeting with Governor of the Central Bank Martin Galstyan.

President Sarkissian congratulated Galstyan on his election and wished him success.

The interlocutors particularly exchanged views on the changes taking place in global financial markets as a result of the coronavirus pandemic and the impact that those changes may have on Armenia. They also touched upon the economic consequences of the pandemic and the actions aimed at overcoming them.

Galstyan shared information about the current and upcoming activities of the Central Bank.
