The National Center for Crisis Management of Armenia on Thursday received a report that there was an accident on the Ijevan-Dilijan motorway, and there was a casualty and injured persons.

It was found out that a car had gone off road, hit a concrete pillar, and the driver—Andranik M., born in 1960—had died on the spot.

Before the rescuers arrived at the scene, passengers Anzhela M. (born in 1987), and Lia (born in 2013) and Lamara (born in 2011) V. were taken out of the car by local efforts and taken to Ijevan Medical Center, where the doctors assessed Anzhela M.'s health condition as satisfactory, while the children—according to the preliminary information—were not injured and are undergoing a corresponding medical examination.
