YEREVAN. – The majority My Step faction of the National Assembly of Armenia convened a meeting, during which a discussion was planned also with minister of education, science, culture and sports Arayik Harutyunyan, but since the Commandant’s Office has convened a special session, Harutyunyan will not be present at the faction meeting. Lilit Makunts, the leader of the My Step faction, on Monday said this in a conversation with journalists, noting that the minister will be present at the next meeting of the faction.

And referring to the issue of the Amulsar gold mine project, Makunts said that this was not a matter for the legislative branch of power, the government had expressed its respective position last year, and it has not changed.
