Another case of death from bubonic plague was recorded in Mongolia, Xinhua News Agency reported, citing the country's health ministry

The 42-year-old man reportedly passed away in western Mongolia on Tuesday night.

Plague is an acute infectious disease with high mortality and infectiousness. In natural foci, sources of infection - plague bacillus - are mainly rodents: marmots, ground squirrels, squirrels, rats, and fleas act as carriers.
