In recent days, news has been published in the entire press, covering the meetings of Armenia’s opposition Homeland Party with the Artsakh (Nagorno-Karabakh) leadership, according to Alternativ.am.

Within the framework of these meetings, rumors began to spread that after learning about these meetings, [Armenia’s PM] Nikol Pashinyan strongly warned NKR [Nagorno-Karabakh Republic] President Arayik Haroutyunyan that the latter turn down any offer of a meeting with [Homeland Party leader Artur] Vanetsyan.

According to Alternativ.am’s information, a meeting did take place between Artur Vanetsyan and NKR President Arayik Haroutyunyan, which, however, was not covered and was kept secret in order to avoid Pashinyan's outbursts and another dose of criticism.

The meeting took place in the NKR presidential summerhouse, where A. Haroutyunyan asked Vanetsyan to be silent about the meeting.

During the meeting, Haroutyunyan and Vanetsyan had lunch and talked about the political situation in the RA [Republic of Armenia] and possible cooperation.
