Deputy of the My Step faction of the National Assembly of Armenia Arsen Julfalakyan has addressed Speaker of the National Assembly Ararat Mirzoyan with a statement on dropping his parliamentary mandate and posted a comment on Facebook stating that the main reason for dropping the mandate is that he fundamentally disagrees with the approaches to management in the sectors under the subordination of Minister of Education, Science, Culture and Sport Arayik Harutyunyan.

Julfalakyan thanked the Speaker of the National Assembly, government agencies and officials (including from the Ministry of Education, Science, Culture and Sport) for the effective work and for the fight to solve the existing problems. He also thanked objective and impartial news agencies for providing coverage of his activities and expressed gratitude to citizens of Armenia and the My Step Alliance for the trust.
