President of Armenia Armen Sarkissian today had a meeting with His Holiness Karekin II, Supreme Patriarch and Catholicos of All Armenians, as reported the press service of the President.
The head of state and the Supreme Patriarch talked about the situation created in the country and the paths to overcome the situation.
They also touched upon the recent trilateral statement on the settlement of the Nagorno-Karabakh conflict, mentioned that this has sparked serious concern among the people and, in this context, attached importance to the maintenance of stability in the country.
