A total of 47% of Americans believe incumbent President Donald Trump will be remembered as one of the worst presidents in United States history, NPR radio station reported.

Meanwhile, 16% of citizens believe that Trump is one of the best US presidents.

The poll found Trump's approval rate at 38%, one of the lowest levels in his presidency.

The poll was conducted from 11 to 13 January, with 1,173 respondents taking part in it.
