According to a statement by the Ministry of Defense of Armenia, Minister of Defense Vagharshak Harutyunyan on Tuesday received Helen Fazey, Chargé d'Affaires of the United Kingdom in Armenia.

First, Fazey expressed her condolences for the casualties of the recent hostilities.

The Minister of Defense presented the implementation of the agreements reached after the cessation of hostilities.

Also, Harutyunyan informed that an assessment was being made of the shortcomings and omissions registered during the hostilities.

The possibilities of deepening the Armenian-British cooperation in the field of defense were also discussed during the meeting.

The UK side expressed readiness to continue the cooperation in the already existing, as well as in the new directions proposed by the Armenian side.
