The Special Investigation Department of the Prosecutor General’s Office of Artsakh (Nagorno-Karabakh) has launched a criminal case under the elements of a crime provided for by part 1 of Article 213 (overthrow of the constitutional order) of the Criminal Code of Artsakh, the Prosecutor General’s Office reports, adding that the preliminary investigation will be conducted by a group of investigators of the Special Investigation Department.

“The criminal case was launched after consideration of the joint report on crime that non-governmental organizations operating in Artsakh submitted to the Prosecutor General’s Office on December 12, 2020.

The Prosecutor General’s Office will provide the public with information about the course and results of pre-trial proceedings on a regular basis,” the press release of the Prosecutor General’s Office reads.
