US President Joe Biden and European Commission President Ursula von der Leyen had a telephone conversation on Friday, during which they agreed to freeze for four months the reciprocal customs tariffs of more than $10 billion that are set along the lines of a long trade dispute in connection with Boeing and Airbus corporations; Von der Leyen tweeted about this.

“Glad to speak to Joe Biden this afternoon. As a fresh start for our Flag of European Union Flag of United States partnership we agreed to suspend all tariffs related to the Airbus-Boeing disputes on aircraft & non-aircraft products for an initial period of 4 months. We also committed to solving these disputes,” she wrote on Twitter.
