The delegation headed by Armenia’s Minister of Health Anahit Avanesyan is in Artsakh (Nagorno-Karabakh), according to the Facebook page of the Ministry of Health of Armenia.

In Stepanakert, the guests from Yerevan were welcomed by Artsakh Minister of Health Mikayel Hayriyan. The parties discussed the challenges of the healthcare system due to the coronavirus pandemic, spoke about the jointly implemented and planned programs, and discussed the process of modernization of the healthcare system of post-war Artsakh.

The heads of the two health ministries touched also upon the work being carried out for the treatment, as well as physical and psychological rehabilitation of wounded servicemen and civilians.

Also, minister Avanesyan visited the Stepanakert Medical Center, then—the Caroline Cox Rehabilitation Centre in Stepanakert.
