Armenia’s President Armen Sarkissian sent a congratulatory message to Iranian President Hassan Rouhani on the occasion of Nowruz.

President Sarkissian's message states in particular that the good-neighborly relations between the two peoples have always been a solid basis for the continuous development of cooperation between Armenia and Iran.

As per the Armenian President, the current difficult situation in the region forces to work to expand the agenda of bilateral political and economic relations.

Also, Sarkissian expressed a conviction that by acknowledging the existing challenges, they will make greater efforts to implement the current programs as soon as possible and reach new agreements.
