The Ministry of Defense of Armenia told Armenian News-NEWS.am that it has located the two contractual servicemen who had been missing from the military unit in Jermuk due to a blizzard since March 21 and that representatives of the ministry are currently carrying out evacuation work.

There is still no information about the servicemen’s condition.

On March 21, due to a blizzard, two contractual servicemen lost contact while moving from the military base of a military unit of the Armed Forces of Armenia to another military base. The incessant blizzard was standing in the way of search and rescue efforts that began yesterday.
