Gagik B., 57, was handed over to the National Security Service (NSS) of Armenia after the arrival of a Moscow-Yerevan flight Monday.
He has been wanted by the police since March 23, 2020, on charges under the Criminal Code articles on embezzlement or squandering, and abuse of official power, police informed Armenian News-NEWS.am.
The pretrial measure of custody has been set.
According to shamshyan.com, Gagik B. is Gagik Beglaryan, the former Minister of Communication and Transport of Armenia. He has been taken from Zvartnots International Airport to the NSS detention center in Yerevan.
