Moscow welcomes the fact that the Azerbaijani side returned 15 prisoners of war to Yerevan in exchange of mine maps. This is what Spokesperson of the Ministry of Foreign Affairs of the Russian Federation Maria Zakharova wrote on her Telegram channel on Saturday, adding the following:

“This is long-anticipated and wonderful news. We welcome similar actions of the sides.”

Yesterday it was announced that Azerbaijan had agreed to return 15 Armenian prisoners of war in exchange of mine maps in Aghdam region. The Armenian prisoners of war and mine maps were exchanged in the presence of Georgian representatives on the Armenian-Georgian border.
