President Kassym-Jomart Tokayev of Kazakhstan has sent a congratulatory message to Acting Prime Minister Nikol Pashinyan on the victory of his ruling Civil Contract Party in the recent snap parliamentary elections in Armenia.

"The results of the voting are convincing evidence that your political course aimed at strengthening statehood, national unity, and stabilizing the situation in the country enjoys the people’s support.

"I am convinced that thanks to joint efforts, the Kazakh-Armenian relations will continue to strengthen, both in the bilateral format as well as within the framework of economic integration in the Eurasian expanse," the Kazakh president’s message notes, in particular.
