A passenger bus capsized in western Turkey early Sunday morning, killing at least 14 people and injuring 18, Anadolu reported. The driver lost control, and the bus capsized on the Balikesir highway heading for the city of Edremit. 18 injured passengers were rushed to nearby hospitals.

Although rescue and emergency teams were dispatched to the crash site, 11 people died on the spot.
