Armenian President Armen Sarkissian on Friday sent a congratulatory message to Chinese President Xi Jinping on the occasion of the 72nd anniversary of the People's Republic of China. The message reads as follows, in particularly:

Next year will be marked by the 30th anniversary of the establishment of Armenian-Chinese diplomatic relations. Armenia attaches great importance to consistent and sustainable development of cooperation with China (…).

Despite the difficulties caused by the [coronavirus] pandemic, I believe that we will show a firm will to implement joint programs and initiatives.

I am full of hope that our relations (…) will continue to develop and expand (…).
