Former President of Georgia Mikheil Saakashvili has been apprehended by Georgian law-enforcement officers, Prime Minister Irakli Garibashvili said during a special briefing on Friday.

“I would like to inform that third President of Georgia Mikheil Saakashvili, who was wanted, has been apprehended and transferred to a penitentiary institution,” Garibashvili said.
