There are surveys, including surveys of civil society showing that the judiciary has had the lowest level of public confidence in the past decades, and this is the shame and stigma of the country. This is what Minister of Justice of Armenia Karen Andreasyan told reporters today.

“The only way to restore the confidence is to remove unjust judges from the judiciary. This is what the public is expecting, and it is what the government has promised. The government has been criticized for improper fulfillment of this process the most, and we are fulfilling the demand of a tremendous mass of the public in order to make the judiciary just as soon as possible,” the minister said.
