YEREVAN. – Armenian President Armen Sarkissian, who is on an official visit to the Vatican, on Monday visited the Pontifical Council for Culture of the Holy See, and met with the president of this council, Cardinal Gianfranco Ravasi, the Presidential Office informed Armenian News-NEWS.am.

The cooperation between Armenia and the Holy See, as well as the development of inter-church relations was discussed during their talk.

The meeting was followed by the signing of a memorandum of understanding on cultural cooperation between the Ministry of Education, Science, Culture and Sports of Armenia and the Pontifical Council for Culture of the Holy See.
