Today a ceremony commemorating the death anniversary of National Hero of Armenia, Knight of the Homeland Order, Colonel Vahagn Asatryan was held at Yerablur Military Pantheon and attended by Chief of the General Staff of the Armed Forces of Armenia, Lieutenant General Artak Davtyan, as well as high-ranking officers, friends-in-combat and relatives.

The attendees respected the memory of Vahagn Asatryan with a moment of silence and laid flowers at his tomb. Spiritual leader of the Armed Forces, Archimandrite Movses Sargsyan performed the Requiem Service.
