At Thursday's Cabinet meeting of the government, a decision was made to appoint a border representative of the Lori-Tavush and Ashotsk-Amasia precincts of the activities of the border representatives of the Georgian part of the state border of Armenia.

And the head of the 1st Border Detachment of the Border Troops of the National Security Service (NSS), Colonel Edgar Hunanyan, was appointed to this position.

The respective draft decision was presented to the government by NSS director Armen Abazyan.
