Local elections are being held in three cities of Armenia Sunday.

Proportional representation elections are being conducted today in Kapan town of Syunik Province, Ijevan town of Tavush Province, and Stepanavan town of Lori Province.

The ruling Civil Contract Party, and the opposition Armenian Revolutionary Federation-ARF Dashnaktsutyun Party are running for municipal council in Ijevan.
The Civil Contract Party and the opposition Shant Bloc nationalist party are running for city council in Kapan.

And opposition Prosperous Armenia Party, Armenian National Congress party, and Civil Contract Party are running for the council of elders in Stepanavan.
Local elections are being held also in Lermontovo village of Lori Province, and Arzni village of Kotayk Province.
