By the order of Prime Minister of Armenia Nikol Pashinyan, Sirvard Gevorgyan has been appointed General Secretary of the Ministry of Justice.

Since October 14, 2021, Gevorgyan had been holding the position of Advisor to the Minister of Justice of Armenia.

Gevorgyan holds a BA and an MA in Law from Yerevan State University, as well as an MA in Laws from the American University of Armenia.
