The CSTO forces’ transport planes carrying Russian peacekeepers have left Kazakhstan, RIA Novosti reports.

These peacekeepers loaded 15 military transport planes with military equipment and left Almaty, the respective statement said, in part.

This personnel and equipment will arrive at airports in Ivanovo and Moscow Regions of Russia.

These peacekeepers will then return to their permanent deployment areas.

The successful completion of the CSTO peacekeeping mission in Kazakhstan was announced on Thursday.

And on Friday morning, the CSTO peacekeepers from Armenia and Tajikistan returned to their homeland.
